One potential suitor for the signature of Manchester City centre-back Aymeric Laporte has reportedly been put off by the Premier League champions’ asking price.

The future of the Spain international remains in doubt as we head deeper into the summer transfer window, and closer to the start of Manchester City’s pre-season, with the understanding being that Etihad officials are yet to receive any official proposals.
