One potential suitor for the signature of Manchester City centre-back Aymeric Laporte has reportedly been put off by the Premier League champions’ asking price.

The future of the Spain international remains in doubt as we head deeper into the summer transfer window, and closer to the start of Manchester City’s pre-season, with the understanding being that Etihad officials are yet to receive any official proposals.

Despite that, work remains very much underway to secure the signature of a possible replacement, as City schedule a fresh round of talks over a possible €100 million signing to be completed in the coming days and weeks ahead.

As always, and with another weekend now out of the way, here is your comprehensive coverage of everything on the transfers front regarding Manchester City!
