Manchester City star now has 50/50 chance at staying as contacts made over €100 million World Cup star

| Last Updated:

On a day when Manchester City’s stars were on the European stage with England and Spain’s under-21s teams, the transfer window was somewhat subdued for the club.

Saturday brought about additional details on two of the biggest deals concerning Manchester City this summer, with fresh information on Kyle Walker and Josko Gvardiol – at a time when concerns were starting to creep in on the Croatian international.

Elsewhere on the departures front, one of Manchester City’s brightest attacking prospects is seemingly attracting further interest, following talk of revived monitoring from Championship side Southampton.

As always, here is your comprehensive daily round-up of everything concerning the treble winners in the ongoing summer transfer window!

New contacts were made between Manchester City and RB Leipzig on Thursday over Josko Gvardiol. Leipzig again stated they want at least €100 million, and will not accept €75 million or €80 million plus add-ons. City, at the moment, are not arriving at €100 million guaranteed. (Fabrizio Romano)

It is 50/50 for Kyle Walker as to whether he stays at Manchester City or not this summer. Bayern Munich are pushing, but City have also sent a new contract proposal. The defender is not being forced out by the club. (Fabrizio Romano)

Kyle Walker will make a final decision on his future very soon. Manchester City have offered him a new deal and to be an important part of the project as Joao Cancelo will leave. Bayern Munich are pushing to sign him as one of their priority targets this summer. (Fabrizio Romano)
