It’s been nearly one month since Manchester City defeated Inter Milan in the UEFA Champions League final, lifting the coveted European trophy for the first time and becoming just the second English team to complete the treble.

Yet with the upcoming campaign just over a month away, Pep Guardiola and his squad are due back for pre-season training in the coming weeks, with the 16th July being mooted as a potential return date for the treble-winners.
Their training will begin at the City Football Academy for a short period before the Sky Blues travel to Japan, where they are set to play friendly matches against the J League’s Yokohama F Marinos and the reigning Bundesliga champions Bayern Munich.
Following two matches in the Japan National Stadium, the Cityzens are set to fly to South Korea, where they are scheduled to face Atletico Madrid to conclude their pre-season tour of East Asia.
