Manchester City will demand a huge fee from PSG for midfielder Bernardo Silva this summer, according to Fabrizio Romano.

Bernardo Silva is one of two Manchester City midfielders who could leave the Etihad Stadium this summer, as PSG and Barcelona target moves for two of Pep Guardiola’s most important players.

PSG have reignited their interest in Bernardo, while Barcelona are one three teams competing for the signature of Ilkay Gundogan, who will be a free agent at the end of the month unless Manchester City agree a new deal with the German international.

Jack Grealish was captured pleading with Bernardo Silva to stay on route to Monday’s treble celebrations, with the Portugal midfielder himself admitting that he was still unsure about where he would be playing football next season.

During a recent interview, the 28 year-old said: “I don’t run away from questions. I still don’t know my future. I’m being honest. We’ll see in the near future. Even if I did, it wouldn’t be the space to talk about it. The reality is I don’t know.”

Fabrizio Romano reports that Paris Saint-Germain are already in talks with the entourage of Bernardo Silva about a summer move to the Parc des Princes, with the French champions labelling the Manchester City midfielder as a “priority” target and “crucial” to PSG’s future plans.

Discussions are reported to have taken place regarding personal terms, however talks between PSG and Manchester City are yet to advance, with the newly-crowned European champions preparing to demand a “huge” fee to sell the five-time Premier League winner.

City demanded a huge fee from Barcelona last summer for the 28 year-old, with the Catalan club failing to sign the player despite rumours and reports throughout the 2022 transfer window.

Bernardo Silva played a key role in Manchester City’s maiden Champions League triumph, scoring two goals against Real Madrid in the semi-finals and providing the assist for Rodri’s goal in last weekend’s final.

The midfielder has won 14 trophies with the Sky Blues since joining from AS Monaco in 2017, with the Portuguese midfielder making 306 appearances for Manchester City.
