Manchester City’s goalscoring sensation Erling Haaland has now revealed the “embarrassing” game that he plays away from the football pitch.

The Norway international has broken records left, right, and centre for Manchester City this season, and most recently became the highest scorer in a single Premier League season, overtaking Andy Cole and Alan Shearer’s tally of 35.

Speaking after the 3-0 win over West Ham earlier this month, Erling Haaland provided insight into his life off the pitch, and how he winds down and turns attentions away from the intensity of Premier League football.

“We cannot keep on thinking about these records, or else I would become crazy in my head,” Haaland said. “So I don’t think of this. I will go home now and play some video games, eat something, and then sleep – that’s what I will do.”

When quizzed on what video games he plays at home, the 22 year-old told Sky Sports, “I cannot say, it’s too embarrassing.”

Now, in a fresh upload to his Instagram story, Manchester City’s striker revealed the video game that may be the ’embarrassing’ revelation that many supporters were hoping to one day find out.

Haaland uploaded an image showcasing himself playing Minecraft with a number of friends, with the caption, ‘#Squad’.

Minecraft and video games as a whole will likely be the best opportunity Erling Haaland will have to zone out from the intensity of Manchester City’s hectic treble-chasing schedule across the course of the coming weeks.

Pep Guardiola and his players have the opportunity to win their fifth Premier League title in six seasons on Sunday afternoon, as they host Chelsea at the Etihad Stadium to finally put an end to Arsenal’s chase of the top-flight crown.

June then brings about two outings in showpiece finals, with an Emirates FA Cup showdown against bitter rivals Manchester United being followed by a trip to Istanbul to take on Serie A giants Inter in the Champions League final.
