Manchester City star Erling Haaland has signed a multi-million pound deal with Italian luxury fashion brand Dolce & Gabbana.

The Norwegian striker has seen a meteoric rise in popularity off the back of a successful debut Premier League campaign with Manchester City.

Haaland, who was named the FWA Player of the Year, has already recorded an impressive 60 direct goal involvements for the Blues this season, further propelling the 22-year-old’s fame.

The former Borussia Dortmund striker has amassed over 35 million followers across all social media platforms, and as well as success on the pitch, has been signing various lucrative sponsorship deals off it.

As reported by the Daily Mail, Haaland has signed a new deal worth up to £2 million with Dolce & Gabbana, the famous luxury Italian fashion brand.

The latter has been frequently spotted in the brand’s apparel, including its signature pieces.

A source close to Haaland labelled the player as a ‘man of the moment,’ drawing attention to his increasing brand value.

“He’s the man of the moment. He’s massive and Dolce & Gabbana has got hold of him first,” a source told the Daily Mail.

The 22 year-old also recently signed a major boot deal with Nike, ending speculation about the potential for the forward to become a PUMA sponsored athlete.

Haaland isn’t the first Manchester City star to endorse a luxury fashion brand, with Jack Grealish having recently signed a seven-figure deal with Gucci.

The City striker is reportedly also subject to interest from major fashion brand Pretty Little Thing, with the Manchester-based company “wooing” Haaland, according to the The Mail.

Since joining City, Haaland has scored 52 goals in 49 appearances, and looks set to soon become a Premier League champion, with Pep Guardiola’s side one win away from their fifth Premier League title in six years.
