Confirmed Match Officials: Everton vs Manchester City (Premier League)
Anthony Taylor will take charge of Manchester City’s visit to Goodison Park in the Premier League on Sunday afternoon.
Manchester City are looking to once again move four points clear of Arsenal in the Premier League title race, after the Gunners beat Newcastle United to move to within just one point of Pep Guardiola’s side.
The Blues currently need three wins from their final four matches to secure a third successive Premier League title, with City travelling to Merseyside on Sunday for a tricky clash with Everton.
The Toffees thrashed Brighton 5-1 on Monday, as they strengthened their hopes of survival by moving two points clear of the relegation zone.
City overcame a late scare to beat Leeds United in the Premier League last weekend and also extended their unbeaten run to 21 matches in midweek, with a crucial 1-1 draw with Real Madrid in the first-leg of their UEFA Champions League semi-final.
Ahead of Sunday’s key Premier League clash, the match officials for the fixture have been announced.
Match Referee
Anthony Taylor will take charge of proceedings between Everton and Manchester City and Sunday afternoon.
The 44 year-old has refereed 40 matches so far this season, showing 157 yellow cards and six red cards.
Taylor last took charge of City in February, when the Blues beat Arsenal 3-1 at the Emirates Stadium.
Assistant Referees
The referee will be accompanied at Goodison Park by Assistant Referees Gary Beswick and Adam Nunn.
Video Assistant Referees
Overviewing proceedings will be Video Assistant Referee Craig Pawson and Assistant Video Assistant Referee Dan Robathan.
Fourth Official
Graham Scott has been named as the Fourth Official.
The official will be overseeing conduct within the two dugouts, and the behaviour of managers Sean Dyche and Pep Guardiola.
