Khephren Thuram is the latest midfielder to be subject to transfer interest from Manchester City, who are preparing for a potential overhaul in central midfield this summer.

The Premier League champions are at risk of losing both Bernardo Silva and Ilkay Gundogan, with the latter reportedly edging closer to a free transfer to Barcelona at the end of the campaign.

Gundogan was Pep Guardiola’s first signing at the Etihad Stadium in 2016 but the German is yet to agree a new deal with the Blues, with his current contract expiring at the end of the season.

Bernardo Silva could also be on the move despite being contracted until 2025 while numerous Premier League clubs including Aston Villa and West Ham are interested in signing Kalvin Phillips.

Borussia Dortmund and England star Jude Bellingham has been linked with a potential move to the Etihad, and Chelsea duo Mason Mount and Mateo Kovačić have also been mooted.

City are also due to welcome back on-loan midfield pair Tommy Doyle and James McAtee from Sheffield United at the end of the season.

Nice midfielder Khéphren Thuram is the latest midfielder to be linked with Manchester City.

The Sky Blues are one of five teams interested in the 22 year-old according to a Foot Mercato report relayed by Get French Football News.

Real Madrid, PSG, Liverpool and Borussia Dortmund are all also interested in the signing the Frenchman, who has made 41 club appearances so far this season.

Thuram been directly involved in six Ligue 1 goals and started Nice’s 2-2 draw with Basel in the UEFA Europa Conference League quarter-final first-leg on Thursday.

The French club will demand at the least €50 million for the 22 year-old and are reportedly confident of potentially even receiving over €60 million this summer.
