23-man Manchester City squad training ahead of Champions League last-16 second-leg clash against RB Leipzig

Manchester City have put together their final preparations for their Champions League last-16 second-leg showdown with RB Leipzig this week.
RB Leipzig make the trip to east Manchester on Tuesday night full of confidence after taking away a positive result from the first portion of 90 minutes over at the Red Bull Arena last month.
Pep Guardiola’s side appeared to be on their way to yet another routine victory in Saxony when Riyad Mahrez put Manchester City ahead in the first-half.
However, the Bundesliga high-flyers came out fighting in the second-half and largely dominated proceedings, with Josko Gvardiol getting Leipzig back on level terms from a corner and carrying over a 1-1 scoreline to the home of the Premier League champions this week.
The second clash against RB Leipzig this week comes in the middle of a huge week for Manchester City – a period of seven days that could define their entire season, as the Champions League showdown comes before an FA Cup quarter-final on Saturday.
City are expected to have a fully-fit squad for the visit of RB Leipzig this week, but there have been some concerns over the fitness of Nathan Ake – who appeared to pick up a significant knock against Crystal Palace on Saturday evening, despite seeing out the contest.
For the final time ahead of Tuesday night’s showdown, Manchester City have put together their final preparations at the City Football Academy in an open training session in front of the general media.
23-man Manchester City training squad ahead of RB Leipzig:
Goalkeepers: Ederson, Stefan Ortega, Scott Carson.
Defenders: Rico Lewis, Kyle Walker, Ruben Dias, Manuel Akanji, John Stones, Aymeric Laporte, Sergio Gomez, Nathan Ake.
Midfielders: Kalvin Phillips, Rodri, Maximo Perrone, Ilkay Gundogan, Kevin De Bruyne, Bernardo Silva, Cole Palmer.
Forwards: Riyad Mahrez, Julian Alvarez, Erling Haaland, Phil Foden, Jack Grealish.
Manchester City had a fully-fit squad in training on Monday afternoon, with no academy players complimenting the first-team set-up as a result.
