“Is it true?!” – Wholesome moment resurfaces as Manchester City target receives signed Joao Cancelo shirt

The heartwarming moment one of Manchester City’s now-primary transfer targets received a signed shirt from the club has resurfaced this week.
Reports in Italy have intensified surrounding the Premier League champions and their admiration for the talents of Juventus’ Andrea Cambiaso, as the club looks to strengthen their full-back positions this year.
Manchester City are expected to hold direct discussions with the Italian club in the coming hours and days over the possibility of a move for Cambiaso, including the timing of a potential move to the Etihad Stadium.
Additional reporting has also suggested that the Premier League champions and their initial talks on the player’s side have been ‘positive’ over a possible five-year contract plus the option of a further season at the club.
In the meantime, excitement is beginning to grow within the fanbase over the potential for a third defensive signing to be made by the club either this month or after the ongoing season concludes in the summer.
And that has led to the emergence of a video released by Juventus, showing the moment when Andrea Cambiaso once received a present from his idol in his position, Joao Cancelo during the Portugal international’s time with Manchester City.
“What are you talking about?! Oh my god! Incredible guys, is it true?” the 24-year-old reacted in disbelief upon realising what he had been sent.
He continued in the video, “Is it Joao (Cancelo)? Really? I can’t believe it bro, what are you talking about? God! Oh God! No way, so cool!”
For now, conversations are likely to remain in place between Manchester City and Juventus over the player’s future, despite the Serie A club’s understandable firm desire to retain the full-back for a longer period of time, and certainly beyond the January market.
Juventus’ head coach, Thiago Motta was quizzed on the recent rumours about the defender’s future and potential interest from Manchester City ahead of his side’s Serie A match-up with AC Milan this weekend.
“I see him very well and he will play tomorrow,” Motta said. “I don’t like talking about the transfer market… Andrea (Cambiaso) is very well; he will be on the pitch tomorrow. That’s for sure.”
Motta continued, “Untransferable? Yes, I already have asked for players not to be sold. And they kept them.”
