Confirmed Line-Ups: Manchester City vs Everton (Premier League)
Manchester City host Everton in the traditional Boxing Day clash for 2024, opening up the latest round of fixtures with a second consecutive lunchtime slot on Thursday.
As many will know, City find themselves in a horrible run of form across competitions, succumbing to nine defeats in their last 12 matches and falling to seventh in the Premier League table with just one win in that time.
Everton marks the penultimate game of 2024, a calendar year that has no doubt been one to once again celebrate through the fourth consecutive Premier League crown and Rodri’s Ballon d’Or triumph earlier in the Autumn.
Sean Dyche’s men are no easy task however, recording impressive 0-0 score-lines away to Arsenal and at home to Chelsea in their last two matches, with those results preceded by a 4-0 home win over Wolves.
City are also marred by injury concerns coming into the fixture, with Rodri and Oscar Bobb’s long-term issues accompanied by fresh problems sustained by Ruben Dias and John Stones, as well as Ederson and Matheus Nunes.
Ahead of kick-off at the Etihad Stadium, here is how both Pep Guardiola and Sean Dyche have lined up their respective Manchester City and Everton sides in Premier League action!
