Erling Haaland availability for Arsenal clash confirmed as Man City squad travel to London

Manchester City will be with their star striker Erling Haaland for the clash against Arsenal on Wednesday night, it has now been confirmed.
The Norway international has been a doubt in recent days after being replaced at half-time of the 3-1 victory over Aston Villa on Sunday afternoon, following a blow to his thigh in the first-half.
However, there was speculation at the time that with the scoreline already set at 3-0 in Manchester City’s favour, Pep Guardiola and his coaching staff may have felt it an unnecessary risk to play Haaland for the second-half.
That speculation was somewhat confirmed on Monday, as Erling Haaland took part in the usual recovery session alongside his City teammates that had also played a part in the victory over Unai Emery’s men.
The Norwegian was then seen in full first-team training on Tuesday afternoon, ahead of Wednesday night’s clash against the Premier League leaders Arsenal – with City booked in to travel to the capital on Wednesday morning.
Now, as confirmed by photographers at Manchester Piccadilly station, Erling Haaland has travelled with the full Manchester City squad to London ahead of the 19:30 kick-off at the Emirates Stadium.
List of City players spotted in published photographs by The Sun and The Mirror:
Pep Guardiola; Scott Carson, Ederson, Stefan Ortega Moreno; Kyle Walker, Manuel Akanji, Ruben Dias, Nathan Ake, Aymeric Laporte; Kalvin Phillips, Rodrigo, Ilkay Gundogan, Bernardo Silva, Kevin De Bruyne; Riyad Mahrez, Jack Grealish, Phil Foden, Erling Haaland.
Note: This is not the complete travelling squad, and only a list of players seen in photographs published by UK newspapers.
Manchester City travel to North London knowing that a victory would take them to the top of the Premier League table, capitalising on Arsenal’s dropped points against Everton and Brentford over the last two matchdays.
Mikel Arteta’s side would still have a game in hand on their Premier League challengers however, but the psychological damage caused on the Gunners by consecutive defeats to City this season could be damning in the games that remain.
