Confirmed Line-Ups: Manchester City vs Tottenham (Premier League)
Manchester City take on Tottenham in the Premier League as the top-flight returns following the final international break of the 2024 calendar year.
Pep Guardiola and his players will be wanting to bring an end to their four-game losing streak immediately, as a new two-year contract for the 53-year-old tactician is expected to reinvigorate the club as a whole.
A meeting with Tottenham at home sparks an unrelenting several months across competitions, as Manchester City face the likes of Feyenoord and Juventus in the UEFA Champions League, and Liverpool, Manchester United, and Aston Villa in the Premier League.
Tottenham find themselves just outside of the top-10 heading into matchday 12 of the ongoing Premier League season, winning five of their opening 11 matches whilst losing another five in that run before drawing the other.
City have seen their injury situation vastly improved over the last fortnight, but will still be without Oscar Bobb, Rodri, Ruben Dias and Mateo Kovacic, whilst Nathan Ake is unlikely to feature as he closes in on a return to full training.
Ahead of kick-off at the Etihad Stadium, here is how both Pep Guardiola and Ange Postecoglou have lined up their respective Manchester City and Tottenham sides in Premier League action!
