Son of Manchester City superstar set to become YouTuber aged 5
The son of Manchester City and England superstar Phil Foden is set to venture into the world of YouTube as part of his global image skyrocketing in the last few months.
Ronnie Foden is already an internet sensation on social media, boasting nearly five million Instagram followers after he went viral for dancing on the pitch after Manchester City’s UEFA Champions League triumph in 2023.
In the space of a few weeks, Ronnie Foden’s global image soared and earned him the nickname “The Dude” or “El Wey” by both Manchester City fans and football supporters across the planet, since becoming somewhat of an unofficial mascot within the first-team squad.
The five-year-old’s parents in Phil Foden and his girlfriend, Rebecca Cooke moved fast to ensure that they could capitalise on his growing image, setting up the now mass-followed Instagram account that has in-turn led to numerous commercial opportunities.
But Ronnie Foden’s rise in social media and as an internet personality is only just getting started, with those around him already plotting the next blockbuster move to ensure he remains ahead of the rest.
According to the information of The Sun newspaper, Ronnie Foden is now set to become a YouTuber with his own account having been set-up in the background ready for a formal launch at some stage in the near future.
The report quotes a source who explained on the situation, “Ronnie loves being the centre of attention and is a big fan of some of the YouTubers.”
The source continued, “So Phil and his mum have set up an account. He could end up making loads of money from it.”
Ronnie Foden already has a modelling contract to his name, and is represented by a talent group despite only recently starting school, such is his mass online fame developed since Manchester City’s Champions League success.
The youngster has also recently modelled for Manchester-founded fashion giant Represent Clothing.
