Date announced for Manchester City’s FA Cup fifth round tie against Bristol City

The date for Manchester City’s fixture against Bristol City in the fifth round of the Emirates FA Cup has been confirmed.
The fourth round of the FA Cup proved to be the toughest test yet for Manchester City, after cruising past Chelsea in the third round, they took on the current Premier League leaders Arsenal.
In a hotly contested first half, impressive saves from goalkeepers Stefan Ortega and Matt Turner helped keep the match level going into the break.
The deadlock would be broken just past the hour mark, when City defender Nathan Ake picked up a pass from Jack Grealish.
Seamlessly gliding the ball out of Turner’s reach and into the far corner of the net, the Dutchman gave the Cityzens the lead, scoring the only goal of the game to help the Blues advance to the fifth round of the prestigious competition.
Days after the match the Sky Blues drew Championship side Bristol City, with the date of the tie having now been announced by the FA.
Pep Guardiola’s side will travel to the Robins’ Ashton Gate on Tuesday 28th February, with kick-off scheduled for 20:00 GMT.
The match will be broadcast live on ITV1 for viewers in the United Kingdom.
Bristol City advanced to the fifth round after thrashing fellow Championship side West Brom 3-0, with goal contributions from Sam Bell and Alex Scott setting up a crunch fifth round clash with the Premier League champions.
