Manchester City travel to Molineux to face Wolves on Sunday afternoon in their first action since the penultimate international break of 2024.

Pep Guardiola and his players stand as the only remaining unbeaten side in the Premier League this season following Arsenal’s 2-0 defeat at Bournemouth 24 hours prior, and will be confident in their chances of maintaining such a status against the division’s 19th-placed side.

It is the first in a stern run of fixtures for Manchester City, with action against Wolves to be followed up by numerous other Premier League encounters before the November international break, as well as Champions League contests and a Carabao Cup fourth round affair at Spurs.

Wolves appears to be the easiest of the upcoming clashes on paper, with Gary O’Neil’s side yet to record a single victory in the Premier League this season and sitting 19th in the division with one draw and six defeats in their opening seven matches.

City have been further boosted by the returns of both Kevin De Bruyne and Nathan Ake to training this week following lengthy injury problems that have resulted in missed action over the last few weeks. However, neither player is likely to play a significant role this weekend.

Ahead of kick-off at Molineux, here is how both Gary O’Neil and Pep Guardiola have lined up their respective Wolves and Manchester City sides in Premier League action!
