Manchester City welcome Fulham to the Etihad Stadium this weekend in their final outing before the latest international break of the season.

Pep Guardiola and his players come into the contest fresh off the back of a 0-4 European rout in Slovakia, claiming their first three points in the UEFA Champions League league phase against Slovan Bratislava.

Goals from Ilkay Gundogan and Phil Foden set City on their way to a comfortable evening’s work in the first-half, before Erling Haaland and James McAtee put the outcome of the match beyond any doubt in the second 45 minutes.

Guardiola will be hoping for more top performances from his roster of stars as they head out on international duty from next week, whilst remaining injury-free as he looks to welcome back two key names after the break.

Focus will have to remain firmly on the task of Fulham on Saturday however, with Marco Silva’s side in a rich vein of form from the start of the season, remaining unbeaten since an opening weekend defeat at the hands of Manchester United.

Despite Nathan Ake and Kevin De Bruyne being expected to return to Manchester City first-team activities and routine after the international break, they remain ruled out this weekend alongside Oscar Bobb and Rodri.
