Confirmed 21-man Manchester City squad list submitted to Premier League for 2024/25 season
Manchester City have submitted their final squad list to the Premier League for the remainder of the 2024/25 season, following the latest summer transfer window.
The Etihad Stadium club were relatively quiet during the recent transfer market in the way of arrivals, but did see plenty of change on both fronts with a number of big-money sales affecting the personnel in the first-team squad.
The likes of Sergio Gomez, Julian Alvarez, and Joao Cancelo all brought an end to their Manchester City careers, with Alvarez in particular bringing in a mammoth level of cash into the club by joining Atletico Madrid in a €95 million total package including add-ons.
Only two new signings would make their way into Manchester City’s squad, with Savinho joining the club from City Football Group sister club ESTAC Troyes in a deal worth a total potential package of £33.6 million.
Ilkay Gundogan would also make a sensational return to Pep Guardiola’s roster by completing a late free transfer return to the Etihad Stadium from FC Barcelona, just one year on from departing off the back of a historic Treble success as Manchester City captain.
Now, following the conclusion of the summer transfer window across the game, Manchester City have submitted their final squad list to the Premier League for the remainder of the 2024/25 season.
