Manchester City have confirmed their 22-man squad for the league-phase of the UEFA Champions League.

Pep Guardiola’s side will play eight matches as part of the new-look UEFA Champions League Group Stage this season, with Manchester City starting their European campaign with a repeat of the 2023 Champions League final, hosting Serie A giants Inter Milan at the Etihad Stadium.

Manchester City famously lifted the Champions League trophy for the first time with a 1-0 win over Inter Milan in Istanbul, and will be bidding to win the competition for a second time in three years this season.

The Sky Blues were dumped out at the quarter-final stage against Real Madrid last season, suffering a dramatic penalty shoot-out defeat at the Etihad Stadium following an enthralling 4-4 aggregate draw.

Manchester City will face a number of crunch clashes during their league-phase between September and January, with games against Paris Saint-Germain, Juventus, Sporting CP and Feyenoord also scheduled.

Oscar Bobb is set to miss the eight fixtures after undergoing surgery for a leg fracture suffered during first-team training last month, meanwhile Rico Lewis is allowed to participate within Manchester City’s B list that was submitted to UEFA.

Ahead of the start of the league-phase of the European competition later this month, Manchester City’s 22-man squad has now been confirmed.
