Transfers
Every single Manchester City transfer completed during the 2024 summer window
The summer transfer window has slammed shut, officially bringing Manchester City’s summer of business to an end.
Pep Guardiola’s side have been active in the transfer window once again, making two additions to the first-team, signing Brazilian Savinho from ES Troyes and re-signing Ilkay Gundogan on a free transfer from FC Barcelona.
Both players featured during Saturday’s 4-1 win over Ipswich Town in the Premier League at the Etihad Stadium, with Gundogan returning to the Sky Blues after just one season in La Liga with Barcelona.
Manchester City have also approved a number of permanent and temporary departures, as the sale of a number of players, including forward Julian Alvarez to Atletico Madrid, helped the Blues pocket over £140 million from player sales.
Liam Delap featured against the Sky Blues for Ipswich at the weekend, meanwhile Joao Cancelo became the third Manchester City player to complete a big money switch to the Saudi Pro League.
Yan Couto secured a move to a club who will be competing alongside Manchester City in the UEFA Champions League, and the Sky Bet Championship also proved fruitful for some of the Blues’ academy talent, including Alex Robertson and Micah Hamilton.
With a series of arrivals, departures and loan moves, here is a comprehensive overview of all the business undertaken by Manchester City this summer!
