Confirmed Match Officials: West Ham vs Manchester City (Premier League)

Michael Oliver has been named as the referee for Manchester City’s Premier League clash against West Ham at the London Stadium.
Pep Guardiola’s side return to the capital on Saturday evening to face West Ham United, looking to make it three consecutive Premier League victories ahead of entering the September international break.
Manchester City have secured wins against both Chelsea and Ipswich Town during their opening two matches of the new campaign, with Erling Haaland having already scored four Premier League goals for the Sky Blues.
The 24-year-old scored his seventh Premier League hat-trick at the Etihad Stadium last Saturday afternoon, as Manchester City came from behind to thump newly-promoted Ipswich 4-1, courtesy of three quick-fire first-half goals.
The win over Kieran McKenna’s side additionally marked the return of Ilkay Gundogan, who featured as a substitute after re-signing for Manchester City on a free transfer from FC Barcelona.
Manchester City sealed their historic fourth successive Premier League title with a win over West Ham in May, and are unbeaten in their past 19 matches against the Hammers across all competitions.
West Ham’s last win against the Sky Blues was in September 2015, and Manchester City have won the last three matches by an aggregate score of 9-2.
Ahead of Saturday’s clash in east London, the Premier League have announced the Match Officials for Manchester City’s visit to West Ham.
Match Referee
Michael Oliver has been named as the referee for Manchester City’s Premier League clash against West Ham at the London Stadium on Saturday evening.
The 39-year-old officiated 39 matches during the 2023/24 campaign, issuing 150 yellow cards and six red cards.
Oliver last took charge of Manchester City in April, officiating a 1-0 win against Chelsea in the Emirates FA Cup semi-final.
Assistant Referees
Oliver will be accompanied in east Manchester by Assistant Referees Stuart Burt and Dan Cook.
Video Assistant Referees
Overviewing proceedings will be Video Assistant Referee Darren England and Assistant Video Assistant Referee Simon Bennett.
Fourth Official
James Bell has been named as the Fourth Official.
The referee will be overseeing conduct within the two dugouts, and the behaviour of managers Julen Lopetegui and Pep Guardiola.
