John Stones, Ruben Dias and Kevin De Bruyne are all in the Manchester City matchday squad to face Tottenham tonight, according to reports ahead of kick-off this evening.

Manchester City will be looking to keep within touching distance of the current Premier League leaders Arsenal, after a defeat to Manchester United last weekend left them eight points behind Mikel Arteta’s side.

City have lost their last two matches across all competitions, with a 2-0 defeat to Southampton in the Carabao Cup quarter-finals last week preceding events at Old Trafford on Saturday afternoon.

Ahead of proceedings at the Etihad Stadium tonight, Pep Guardiola confirmed that all of Kevin De Bruyne, Ruben Dias, and John Stones were available for selection for the visit of Tottenham Hotspur.

The central defensive pairing have been ruled out of recent matches through injury, while the Belgian midfielder missed training on Tuesday due to “personal issues” but returned on Wednesday ahead of the clash against Spurs.

With official confirmation of both sides’ respective team news due an hour before kick-off, sources have been revealing snippets of information as to what supporters can expect from their teams in the run-up to the hour.

According to one source, John Stones, Ruben Dias, and Kevin De Bruyne are all in the Manchester City matchday squad to face Tottenham, with the defensive duo returning to Pep Guardiola’s group from recent respective injury problems.

Further reporting has revealed that Julian Alvarez is among those who start for Manchester City tonight, while Kevin De Bruyne is among Pep Guardiola’s list of substitutes for the clash against Spurs.

In further details, Joao Cancelo and Phil Foden have both been revealed to be amongst the substitutes for Manchester City, while Jack Grealish and Rico Lewis start for the Premier League champions, according to another source.

Erling Haaland and John Stones were then also named as confirmed starters, while Kyle Walker was revealed to be among the substitutes, as per the same above source.

Pep Guardiola and Antonio Conte are expected to confirm their respective starting line-ups for Manchester City vs Tottenham Hotspur at 19:00 (UK) tonight.
