Manchester City close in on triple first-team departure as €95 million agreement reached with Atletico Madrid
Pep Guardiola is expected to see a third first-team player leave within the space of 24 hours as Julian Alvarez closes in on his long-awaited move to Atletico Madrid.
Given the seismic nature of the Argentine’s switch to the La Liga club, it remains to be seen whether Manchester City choose to hunt down a replacement for the 24-year-old, with Tuesday bringing about plenty of links to potential new names.
Alvarez’s exit to the Metropolitano will be accompanied by a number of loan moves either side of his own confirmation, with two deals having been confirmed by their respective temporary new clubs this week.
Following yet another busy day in the world of Manchester City transfer activity, here is everything you need to know in order to remain up to date with the Premier League champions following day 54 of the window!
