Oscar Bobb has revealed Manchester City’s new third kit for the 2024/25 season ahead of the club’s official unveiling expected on Friday.

Manchester City and Puma announced on Tuesday that both parties would be unveiling the brand new edition of the club’s third kit for the upcoming campaign on Friday 26 July, with special activations scheduled for their pre-season tour.

It had been confirmed earlier this year that Manchester City’s upcoming third kit edition would have striking similarities to a release by Umbro in the 2012/13 campaign, for the club’s away kit in light of their debut Premier League title success.

But thanks to one first-team star’s social media mistake, Manchester City fans have been handed an early glimpse of just how similar the two kits will be, with fresh images surfacing of the new edition worn by the player himself.

In an Instagram post released on his official Instagram page on Thursday afternoon, Oscar Bobb revealed official photoshoot images of himself donning the unreleased Manchester City third shirt for the 2024/25 season.

“Onwards and upwards, Cityzens,” the 21-year-old penned. “Manchester City and Puma are moving things forward,” he continued in an accompanying caption.

Back on the field, Oscar Bobb has started Manchester City’s pre-season tour exactly the way he would have imagined, emerging as the standout performer in the club’s opening game of their four-game United States fixture list.

Despite falling to defeat against Scottish Premier League champions Celtic in a 3-4 scoreline in North Carolina, Bobb managed to record one goal and two assists across City’s three goals in the outing.

After getting the Premier League champions on level terms in the first-half, Oscar Bobb turned provider for both Maximo Perrone and Erling Haaland’s second-half goals at the Kenan Memorial Stadium in Chapel Hill.

Attentions now turn to a showdown with AC Milan at the iconic Yankee Stadium in New York City on Saturday night, before Manchester City will then take on FC Barcelona and Chelsea in their final two matches.
