Fantasy Premier League 24/25: Complete Manchester City squad price reveal amid record-breaking Erling Haaland increase
The Premier League have announced the prices of Manchester City players for the 2024/25 edition of Fantasy Premier League.
Manchester City will bid to win an unprecedented fifth consecutive Premier League title during the upcoming 2024/25 campaign, with Pep Guardiola’s side starting their latest title defence against Chelsea at Stamford Bridge on Sunday 18 August.
The new season, which could be Pep Guardiola’s last at the Etihad Stadium, will also involve Manchester City competing in newly-formatted versions of both the UEFA Champions League and FIFA Club World Cup.
Erling Haaland has set a new record ahead of the new season, with the Norwegian becoming the first £15.0 million player in Fantasy Premier League history, following the launch of the game for the new campaign.
The 23-year-old has scored 90 goals since his arrival at the Etihad Stadium in July 2022, with Haaland netting 38 goals in 45 appearances during the recent 2023/24 season, including hat-tricks against Fulham, Luton Town and Wolves.
Haaland will be the Blues’ most expensive player in FPL, with De Bruyne and Phil Foden both priced at £9.5m initially, and Julian Alvarez costing £7.0m.
Josko Gvardiol will be Manchester City’s most expensive defender at £6.0m, meanwhile both Ederson and Stefan Ortega will cost users £5.5m.
