Confirmed Match Officials: Manchester United vs Manchester City (Premier League)

Stuart Attwell will take charge of the Manchester Derby at Old Trafford on Saturday afternoon, the Premier League have announced.
Manchester City will have the opportunity to move within two points of league leaders Arsenal and open up a seven point gap between themselves and Manchester United with a win this weekend.
City demolished Erik ten Hag’s team in October, thrashing United 6-3 courtesy of hat-tricks from Erling Haaland and Phil Foden.
United have won their last four successive Premier League matches and are unbeaten since a 3-1 defeat to Aston Villa in November.
Ahead of Saturday’s clash at Old Trafford, the Premier League have announced the Match Officials for the match.
Match Referee
Stuart Attwell will take charge of the Manchester Derby at Old Trafford on Saturday afternoon.
The 40 year-old has officiated 13 matches so far this season, showing 53 yellow cards and two red cards.
Attwell, who refereed United’s 1-1 draw with Chelsea in October, took charge of City’s 3-1 win over Leeds at Elland Road last month.
Assistant Referees
Attwell will be accompanied at Old Trafford by Assistant Referees Gary Beswick and Darren Cann.
Video Assistant Referees
Overviewing proceedings from Stockley Park will be Video Assistant Referee Michael Oliver and Assistant Video Assistant Referee Nick Hopton.
Fourth Official
Robert Jones, who took charge of City’s 4-0 FA Cup win over Chelsea on Sunday, has been named as the Fourth Official.
The referee will be overseeing conduct within the two dugouts, and the behaviour of managers Erik ten Hag and Pep Guardiola.
