Following conversations between Manchester City boss Pep Guardiola and Jack Grealish himself, a new report has revealed the conclusion surrounding the player’s future.

The recently-concluded 2023/24 campaign was a challenging one on a personal note for Grealish, despite coming out with his third successive Premier League winners’ medal following on from a Treble-winning season with the club.

A string of injuries sustained in the early phase of the campaign, as well as during the club’s decisive run-in, couple with issues off the field and challenges in his personal life saw his opportunities under Pep Guardiola fall.

The arrival of Jeremy Doku in a big-money move last summer added further pressure onto Grealish when called upon, whilst some media outlets came to the conclusion that the Belgian’s signing could ultimately lead to an exit for the former Aston Villa man.

However, a new report has detailed the conclusion that has now been reached by Manchester City surrounding the reportedly ‘uncertain’ future of Jack Grealish, with some going as far as to suggest that Bayern Munich could be interested in his signature.

That is according to the information of Manchester City insider’ Tolmie’s Hairdoo’ on X, who reports that there is ‘zero intention’ from Manchester City to sell Jack Grealish during the upcoming summer transfer window, despite recent speculation.

It is further detailed, following on from similar reports in mainstream media, that City manager Pep Guardiola and the player held ‘positive talks’ before the forward joined up with England for the summer’s international action.

Despite retaining the signature of Jack Grealish, coupled with the expected development of Jeremy Doku next season, Manchester City are unlikely to recruit any further in the wide positions this summer following the deal for Brazilian international Savio.

Etihad Stadium bosses moved swiftly during the recent January transfer window to secure a deal for the teenage winger from ESTAC Troyes, as he continued an exemplary campaign on loan with Girona in La Liga.

Savio’s performances for Girona led to the Spanish top-flight club recording a third-place finish in the league last season, booking themselves in for a UEFA Champions League campaign during the upcoming 2024/25 season.
