Confirmed Line-Ups: Manchester City vs Manchester United (FA Cup Final)
Pep Guardiola and Erik ten Hag have both confirmed their respective starting teams for the Emirates FA Cup Final at Wembley Stadium.
Manchester City can become the first club to win back-to-back Premier League and Emirates FA Cup trophies this weekend, as the Sky Blues face local rivals Manchester United in an all-Manchester FA Cup Final at Wembley Stadium on Saturday.
City, who won a sixth Premier League title in seven years with a win over West Ham at the Etihad Stadium last weekend, beat Erik ten Hag’s side in the FA Cup Final last season, courtesy of Ilkay Gundogan’s brace.
Manchester City have won both Premier League meetings against United this season, winning 3-1 at the Etihad Stadium in March and 0-3 at Old Trafford in October, with the growing potential for the Dutch manager to be sacked by United following Saturday’s match.
Phil Foden and Erling Haaland have been the Blues’ goalscorers against Man Utd this campaign, with Foden also scoring twice during last weekend’s win over the Hammers to clinch the title.
Manchester United continue to face injury problems, meanwhile Ederson remains ruled out for Manchester City, after the Brazillian goalkeeper suffered a facial fracture against Tottenham earlier this month, ending the season of the 30-year-old prematurely.
