Erling Haaland goes head-to-head with Marcus Rashford and Bukayo Saka for top Premier League award

Manchester City striker Erling Haaland has once again been nominated for the Premier League’s Player of the Month award, after an extended run of exceptional goalscoring form.
Across the months of November and December, the Norwegian forward scored an impressive four goals in four appearances for City in the Premier League, including a brace away at Leeds United during the festive period.
Haaland remains the Premier League’s top scorer so far this season with 21 goals to his name – six more than second-placed Harry Kane – and his four strikes in the past two months also made him the top scorer during that period.
Amongst his four goals, Erling Haaland also scored a vital injury time winner against Fulham to secure a 2-1 win for Manchester City at the Etihad Stadium – sparking jubilant scenes amongst players, coaching staff, and fans alike.
This week, the 22 year-old’s fine performances have now been recognised by the Premier League themselves, as Erling Haaland has once again been nominated for the Player of the Month award.

Erling Haaland took home the Premier League’s Player of the Month award during his first calendar month of his Manchester City career, as his nine goals during a blistering start to life in England were rightly credited by voters.
